Mortgage/Property Administrator

Role and Responsibilities

Working on revolutionary and ground-breaking products and services that are rapidly expanding, we are now recruiting for a Mortgage/Property Administrator to work across multiple projects. This is the perfect role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment and wants to work on interesting evolving projects, loves being involved in new challenges and wants an opportunity to develop and grow within an expanding company. All training will be provided as well as the opportunity for career progression for the right candidate. We’re seeking a confident Mortgage/Property Administrator to provide data and analytic support to the team. You will work directly with the wider team as well as some client interaction via phone and email. As a Mortgage/Property Administrator you will be a detail orientated person who will be responsible for sourcing and reviewing client mortgage files post completion and extracting key relevant information to place onto our internal database enabling you to generate accurate templated case reports on our clients’ behalf.


The role duties are: 

  •       Prioritising and organizing your workload to ensure deadlines are met and the best outcome is achieved

    • Provide a prompt and comprehensive telephone and/or written response to customer queries received
    • Maintaining our Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) system with relevant client information, updating key milestones for automated client notifications
    • Accurate and up to date filling of client mortgage files both hardcopy and online 
    • Within a specified case load, collate and analyse client mortgage file documents
    • Extraction and data entry of relevant and key mortgage information
    • Document production and formatting of templated client reports and correspondence in line with company standard formats
    • Coordinate changes and amendments to client documents including taking responsibility for the consistency of those documents throughout the process
    • Converting documents to Word/Excel/PowerPoint and formatting appropriately, editing PDF documents (eg, deleting pages, adding pages, redacting, etc)
    • Quality checking your own work and that of your peers if required

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 2 years previous data entry/ administrative work (essential)

Desired Skills

  • – ·    Experience of working within an estate agency, mortgage brokers or conveyancing environment preferred but not essential

    • Excellent communicator – both written and oral.
    • Highly motivated and organized with the ability to prioritise own workload
    • Ability to work under pressure, uses initiative and requires minimal supervision
    • Methodical worker with high attention to detail
    • Strong document production skills to include accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proofreading.

    • Have a curious/investigative nature, with analytical and decision-making skills enabling you to delve into and solve problems quickly & efficiently
    • Strong IT skills, including database management and ability to “pick up” unfamiliar software quickly
    • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
